NEWS FLASH - Cost effective truck for transporting horses!
I just received a photo from Pastor Blas of a small 4 cylinder Suzuki 4 x 4 Multi-Cab with a custom fabricated box for transporting livestock.  Although this particular vehicle is not for sale, we priced out the purchase of the truck and fabrication of the box for around $4000 Canadian!

Arrived Sept 11th in the Philippines!

It's so good to be back in the Philippines!
For the next month I will be involved in the legal preparation of CCM's not-for-profit Incorporation as a NGO (non-government-organization) in the Philippines.  To date we have the SEC papers and have successfully reserved "Cross-Culture Ministries Philippines Inc".
Because CCM has acquired 20 horses, 2 motorcycles and a vehicle used by the Bible School in Bohol, the board of directors has agreed that it is advisable to protect the assets of CCM by proceeding with the Inc process.  By Oct 29th, when Ron Nelson and Shannon will arrive in Davao, all the paperwork will be ready for Ron's signature for final submission.

TRIBAL PASTORS - A Time of Encouragement & Building Relationships.
In the first 2 weeks of November we will travel to the Bukidnon (mountains) of Mindanao to meet the pastors who have already received horses from our partners in ministry, as well as many other pastors will be in attendance. We will be encouraging them and building relationships as well as presenting 3 horses to new tribal pastors. It will be a great time!

This Sunday I will be ministering at a multi-church youth event. Everyone is very excited to learn more about market-place evangelism. There are so many opportunities for ministry! We've also been asked to minister at a annual tribal youth event in the mountains in October.
Plans to conduct Evangelism Mini-Boot Camps in Mindanao are under way. Please pray for God's direction and wisdom to plan for the places where God want's us to be, as well as for safety and provision.

Shannon & I will be ministering in the Philippines until mid January, while Ron will continue on to Hong Kong to be with the church there and will return back to Canada mid December.

As we "live by faith" we rely on the favor of the Lord to touch the hearts of His people to plant their seed into this ministry.
